Abacus Labels and Packaging is a family-owned Flexographic Printing business located in the western suburbs of Chicago. 3rd generation printing family, the Kukla family started Kukla Press in 1964 behind Stan Kukla Sr & his three sons. Stanley Kukla Jr & brothers built a top 100 printing business in the country, while becoming the president of the Printing Industry of America’s web-offset association. Later inducted into Printing Impressions Hall of Fame.

 

Ink is evidently in the veins of the family, as Abacus Label & Packaging is owned & operated by Stan Kukla III (most regularly known as Joe). All areas of print have been experienced and used to move into the label & packaging field, with continual plans for expanding into new areas.
